Results of Quality-Control Sampling of Water, Bed Sediment and Tissue in theWestern Lake Michigan Drainages Study Unit of the National Water-Quality Assessment Program

The purpose of this report is to describe the results of the quality-controlprogram in the Western Lake Michigan Drainages study unit for the primary studies conducted from 1992 through 1995. Sample matrices includes surface water (from basic fixed sites and intensive fixed sites), ground water (from study-unit surveys, land-use surveys, and a flow-path study), and bed sediment and tissue (from the occurrence and distribution study). All nonestimated (no analytical problems noted) quality-control data for surface and ground-water, bed sediment, and tissue were evaluated.
