摘要

The evaluation of the curing process of a fresh concrete is critical to its construction process and monitoring. Traditionally stress sensor and compressive wave sensor were often used to measure concrete properties. Bender element (BE) test, a nondestructive test measuring shear wave velocity(Vs) was widely used in geotechnical engineering. Maximum shear modulus is the ratio of shear stress to shear strain Ti used in determination of elastic settlement and stiffness. The use of bender elements to detect stiffness change through shear wave velocity is a non-destructive test. BE test was used to monitor the curing process of fresh self-consolidating concrete in this study.
