The report documents the input of more than 60 planners, local practitioners,211u001eresearchers, analysts, and law enforcement officers, representing 21 States, who 211u001ehave been involved in implementing or evaluating programs to improve the criminal 211u001ejustice systems in their communities. This monograph describes their programs, 211u001eincluding goals, components, results and impact, and prospects for replication. 211u001eAlthough the programs are local in scope, each program description provides 211u001eenough information about how the program was developed and implemented to give 211u001eother communities guidance in developing similar programs.
