Quality-control samples provide part of the information needed to estimate the211u001ebias and variability that result from sample collection, processing, and 211u001eanalysis. Quality-control samples of surface water collected for the Upper 211u001eColorado River National Water-Quality Assessment study unit for water years 1995-211u001e96 are presented and analyzed in this report. The types of quality-control 211u001esamples collected include pre-processing split replicates, concurrent replicates, 211u001esequential replicates, post-processing split replicates, and field blanks.
