The present report deals with hydroforming and hydroformability of extra highstrength steels in structural tubular automotive/vehicle applications. It covers issues such as different hydroforming methods, failure modes encountered, applicable design criteria, process outline and control, and hydroformability assessments. This report is the result of an analysis based on literature survey.
