Comparison of Insect Populations on Native and Reconstructed Tall-Grass Prairiesin Western Wisconsin

This report summarized work in progress that took place between July 1, 1996-June30, 1997. Research during this period of time emphasized the sampling insects, primarily grasshoppers (Orthoptera: Acrididae) that inhabit or recolonized native and reconstructed prairies of various ages in western Wisconsin. Grasshoppers collected in June of 1997 are not included in this report.
