Advanced Stimulation Technology Deployment Program: EG Operating Company, BlackRanch Area, Atoka Formation, Hood County, Texas. Topical Report, September 1995-January 1997

This report summarizes the activities of Integrated Petroleum Technologies, Inc.in transferring the core of GRI advanced stimulation technologies to EG Operating Company for application in the Atoka A-1 Formation in the Black Ranch area of Hood County, Texas. The tangible benefits from suspension of a potentially uneconomic and unnecessary drilling and recompletion program are documented. The technology transfer program focused on a detailed review of past completion practices including three dimensional simulation of previous fracture treatments, statistical review of production responses from these completions, and reservoir characterization through production history matching.
