摘要

The goal of the proposal is to investigate the mechanical properties of thebonding material (resin/epoxy) in relation to the durability of the fiber reinforced polymeric matrix composites (FRP) for various temperature conditions. Specifically we will concentrate on carbon fiber-FRP's. In the proposal, mechanical properties of the resin and its bonding characteristics with Carbon fiber and Concrete were investigated in order to arrive at a unified durability model. The proposed model will include geometry, temperature and water moisture as its parameters, as well as those already mentioned. In the work the ground work to produce such a model has been initiated. It is proposed that such results include creep and load relaxation experiments to better understand the non-linear behavior.
