The authors show how to use computer algebra for computing exact distributions on211u001enonparametric statistics. The authors give several examples of nonparametric 211u001estatistics with explicit probability generating functions that can be handled 211u001ethis way. In particular, the authors give a new table of critical values of the 211u001eJonckheere-Terpstra test that extends tables known in the literature.
