摘要

This paper describes a finite-element formulation for static and stationary211u001eelectric and magnetic fields in terms of the electric and of the magnetic field 211u001estrength. The formulation is based on a simultaneous minimization in the least-211u001esquares sense of the error in modeling the curl and the divergence equations. For 211u001econsistently modeling, the field equations and the interface and boundary 211u001econditions, use is made of generalized Cartesian expansion functions.
