Sensitivity of Solutions of Linear DAE to Perturbations of the System Matrices

The paper studies the effect of perturbations in the system matrices of linear211u001eDifferential Algebraic Equations (DAE) onto the solutions. It turns out that 211u001ethese may result in a more complicated perturbation pattern for higher index 211u001eproblems that in the case for (standard) additive perturbations. The analysis 211u001ewhich has clear ramifications in nonlinear problems (cf. Newton) is sustained by 211u001ea number of examples.
