User's Guide for Corrente: A Procedure to Estimate Mean Highest and Mean LowestWatertables

Corrente is a three step computer procedure to estimate the Mean Highest and MeanLowest Watertable (MHW and MLW) from simulated series of water-table depths. Additionally, duration curves, regime curves, historgrams and univariate statistics can be calculated. Corrente calibrates transfer-function noise models for water-table depths with precipitation excess as input and uses these models for simulation. Storage of input data, models and simulation results is provided. An introduction into applications, limitations and theoretical background of Corrente is given and, moreover, an introduction into its use.
