In November 14-15, 1996, a French-Finnish Symposium on Urban Traffic was arrangedat the Helsinki University of Technology, Finland. The subjects in the first day of the symposium were 'Transport telematics', 'Financing and organization of urban public transport' and 'Crossing the borders in transport infrastructure'. The themes of the second meeting day were 'Urban transport' and 'Alternative ways of highway financing.
