A public meeting was held on September 28, 1998 at the Ronald Reagan Trade211u001eCenter, Washington, DC, for individuals to attend and present oral and written 211u001ecomments to representatives from the National Institute of Environmental Health 211u001eSciences (NIEHS), National Institutes of Health and other officials with 211u001eresponsibility for preparation of the NIEHS Director's report. The meeting was 211u001eattended by research scientists, representatives from industry, governmental 211u001eofficials, journalists, and the public. The comments targeted the issues of 211u001eelectric and magnetic fields (EMF) and the Working Group Report. A presentation 211u001eby NIEHS preceded the presentation of comments.
