Measurements of Curvilinear Ridges in the Bay of Bothnia during the ZIP-97211 Experiment

The structure of two ridges was measured by drilling and levelling along multiple211u001elines in the Bay of Bothnia. Cross-sections, volume balances, porosity structures 211u001eand block structures were determined. The measurements belonged to the local 211u001escale studies of ZIP-97 experiment which constituted the field phase of the Ice 211u001eState project. Both ridges had a regularly curvilinear sail that resembled a 211u001erounded finger rafting pattern. For the first ridge two and for the other ridge, 211u001esix fingers were mapped.
