U.S. Compendium of Selected Anti-Money Laundering Statutes and Rules

The purpose of this Compendium, it should be emphasized, is to introduce thereader to the anti-money laundering rules in force in the U.S. Those rules naturally reflect, to some degree, the particular concepts of the U.S. legal and financial systems, and they are offered simply as examples of the way the U.S. has sought to address these problems. Their application to other systems, of course, raises questions beyond the scope of this or any publication of this sort.
