This document treats the crosstalk between parallel conductors. The conductors211u001ecan represent either conductors in a multiconductor cable or traces on a printed 211u001ecircuit board (PCB). An analysis method based on a lumped circuit equivalent for 211u001ethe problem as well as a method to calculate the per unit length parameters are 211u001epresented. The computed results are validated by comparison with measurements as 211u001ewell as an exact solution of the multiconductor transmission line equations. 211u001eSeveral PCB-layouts are analyzed to demonstrate how the crosstalk on a PCB can be 211u001eminimized.
