Indicators of Maternity Care in Medicaid Managed Care. Final Report

This research study aims to (1) develop potential indicators for maternity211u001eambulatory care, incorporating the role of nutrition, psychosocial, and health 211u001eeducation services, (2) test the validity of the indicators for their 211u001eassociations with poor health outcomes and their ability to predict poor health 211u001eoutcomes, and (3) test whether the indicators vary for women, with respect to 211u001edifferent provider settings for prenatal care and different payer sources of 211u001ecare. An expert panel will develop indicators and rate the variables proposed as 211u001eindicators or risk adjusters.
