The House Subcommittee on Risk Management and Specialty Crops, House Committee on211u001eAgriculture, asked GAO to assess the fiscal year 2000 annual performance plan of 211u001ethe Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) for compliance with the 211u001eGovernment Performance and Results Act of 1993 (Results Act). On the basis of its 211u001ereview, GAO found that CFTC actions clearly show a good faith effort to comply 211u001ewith the Results Act. However, GAO identified several areas in which CFTC could 211u001eimprove its performance plan.
