Statistical Relationship between Vehicular Crashes and Highway Access

To fully apprize the Legislature of the potential impacts of access management,211u001ethe Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) has gathered information and 211u001econducted research in order to make recommendations covering a wide range of 211u001einterrelated land use planning, engineering, and legal practices to maximize the 211u001eoperational efficiency and safety of all functional categories of roadways. The 211u001estudy focused on first identifying and then analyzing a random and statistically 211u001erepresentative sample of roadways.
