Preliminary Investigation of Microbial Indicators in the Assessment of Oregon211 Streams

The purpose of this research was to: (1) provide quantitative estimates of the211u001elevels of microbial indicators of public health significance in streams 211u001ethroughout the state of Oregon, (2) explore differences in stream bacterial 211u001elevels in Oregon ecoregions, and (3) investigate the relationship between 211u001ebacterial functional diversity and ecoregions.
