Compliance Testing of an End Treatment for the Low-Profile Concrete Barrier

This research report presents the results of a sequence of crash tests that show211u001ethat the previously developed low-profile portable concrete barrier system 211u001ecomplies with test criteria presented in NCHRP Report 350 for test level 2 211u001econditions. These results suggest that the low-profile barrier system is suitable 211u001efor use on most local and collector roads and many work zones. Therefore, it is 211u001erecommended that the low-profile barrier continue to be used in low-speed work 211u001ezones as previously recommended.
