Preoperational Radiation Surveillance of the WIPP Project by EEG during 1993through 1995

The Environmental Evaluation Group's (EEG) radiological surveillance programs'spurpose is to independently measure background radioactivity in air, water and soil at the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant (WIPP) and in surrounding communities. The WIPP is intended to be a repository for the disposal of transuranic (TRU) radioactive waste resulting from defense activities of the United States.
