摘要

The 1994 demonstration project at Loyola University City College in New Orleans was designed to extend education and university services to underserved areas in Louisiana using advanced telecommunications technologies. To this end, the project had two primary goals: (1) To improve literacy services at 10 regional literacy coalition sites serving rural Louisiana$ and (2) To contribute to the improvement of the quality of health care in rural communities of Louisiana.
