Forest Service: Weak Contracting Practices Increase Vulnerability to Fraud,Waste, and Abuse

摘要

This report evaluates whether the Forest Service manages its contractingactivities to minimize fraud, waste, and abuse and maximize effectiveness. The report contains recommendations to the Secretary of Agriculture designed to strengthen internal control and make greater use of contracting best practices to improve the effectiveness of the Forest Service's contracting.
