Community Watershed Initiative Strategy: Recognizing Shared Vision, Realizing211 Shared Goals

As directed by the Chesapeake Executive Council in 1997, the Community Watershed211u001eInitiative offers a framework to enable the Chesapeake Bay Program (CBP) to 211u001ebetter support community watershed efforts for the benefit of the small 211u001ewatersheds within the Chesapeake Bay basin. The challenge of this strategy is to 211u001epromote implementation of Chesapeake Bay Program priorities at the small 211u001ewatershed scale. Implementation at this scale will recognize the value and 211u001eaccomplishments of existing state, regional and local efforts and improve program 211u001eintegration, delivery and results.
