Mie Scattering Code for Dielectric Sphere

摘要

In this report, a computer code which evaluates the scattering characteristics211u001elike, scattering, extinction and the absorption cross section, from a dielectric 211u001esphere, due to a plane wave incidence is presented using Mie Formulation. The 211u001eprogram also gives the monostatic radar cross section. All the cross sections 211u001ecomputed are normalized with respect to the geometric cross section of the 211u001esphere. The procedure to run this program and plot various curves is also 211u001epresented in the report.
