Finland has undergone significant industrial restructuring in recent years. The211u001eblossoming development of the electrotechnical and especially the electronics 211u001eindustry is at least partly due to the purposeful emphasis placed on advanced 211u001etechnology. Indeed, the technology policy pursued in Finland can be regarded as 211u001ehaving been a great success. Moreover, this success has by no means eluded 211u001eFinland's traditional branches of industry, which have been generating new 211u001ebusiness opportunities through technological product and production innovations.
