User manual of the first DOS version of constrained dendrite growth analysis211u001epackage CDG for steels is presented. Depending on the steel composition, the 211u001egrowth rate and the temperature gradient, the CDG package determines the dendrite 211u001etip undercooling, the primary solid phase (ferrite or austenite), the 211u001ethermodynamic stability of that phase, certain dimensions of microstructure 211u001e(dendrite tip radius and primary arm spacing) and the solute accumulation ahead 211u001eof the advancing dendrite tip.
