This memorandum serves to present the Hercules 009 Landfill Superfund Site211u001eExplanation of Significant Difference (ESD) for concurrence. The Record of 211u001eDecision (ROD) was signed on March 25, 1993 (PB94-964070). The ESD amends the ROD 211u001eby changing the type of cover to be placed on the treated landfill soils and 211u001esludges. The ESD also explains EPA's justification for determining the 211u001eappropriate treatment depth in the landfill cells.
