This NUREG provides guidance to the NRC staff reviewers in the Office of Nuclear211u001eMaterial Safety and Safeguards who perform safety and environmental reviews of 211u001ethe anticipated license application for the Advanced Vapor Laser Isotope System 211u001e(AVLIS) Facility under 10 CFR Part 70, as revised. The standard review plan (SRP) 211u001epresented in this NUREG ensures the quality, uniformity, stability, and 211u001epredictability of staff reviews. It presents a defined basis from which to 211u001eevaluate proposed changes in the scope and requirements of the staff reviews. The 211u001eSRP makes information about review acceptance criteria readily available to 211u001einterested members of the public and the regulated industry. Each SRP section 211u001eaddresses the responsibilities of persons performing the review, the review 211u001eareas, the Commission's regulations pertinent to specific technical matters, the 211u001eacceptance criteria used by the staff, how the review is accomplished, and the 211u001econclusions that are appropriate for the Safety Evaluation Report (SER).
