This is the Fishery Management Plan (FMP) for Atlantic tuna, swordfish, and sharks, highly migratory species (HMS) that inhabit the Atlantic Ocean and adjacent waters. The HMS FMP replaces the existing Atlantic Shark and Atlantic Swordfish FMPs, and establishes an FMP for Atlantic tuna. Atlantic HMS are managed by the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) under the authority of the Secretary of Commerce (Secretary), with consideration of the domestic and international aspects of these fisheries.
