The main goal of the project was to quantify the impacts of non-local drivers on211u001ethe capacity at signalized intersections, and to develop driver population 211u001efactors for the capacity analysis procedures of signalized intersections. This 211u001egoal was achieved through the accomplishment of the following specific 211u001eobjectives: to conduct traffic data collection and roadside interviews in the 211u001efield; to estimate the capacity and the corresponding non-local driver population 211u001elevel based on the field data; To examine the relationship between the capacity 211u001eand the non-local driver population level; and to develop driver population 211u001eadjustment factor tables for the capacity analysis procedure of signalized 211u001eintersections.
