As a fundamental 211u001ecomponent of the research and recovery activities conducted by the Marine Mammal 211u001eResearch Program (MMRP), Protected Species Investigation, National Marine 211u001eFisheries Service, Honolulu Laboratory, the Epidemiology Plan incorporates 211u001especific strategies under the broad heading of health and disease intended to 211u001eenhance recovery and prevent further decline of the species.
