This addendum to NUREG-1437, Generic Environmental Impact Statement for License211u001eRenewal of Nuclear Plants, documents the staff's analysis of the potential 211u001ecumulative impacts of transporting spent nuclear fuel in the vicinity of a single 211u001ehigh-level waste repository, and summarizes the staff's analyses undertaken to 211u001edetermine whether the environmental impacts of the transportation of higher 211u001eenrichment and higher burnup spent nuclear fuel are consistent with the values of 211u001e10 CFR 51.52, Table S-4. The intent of the study is a generic analysis of the 211u001ecumulative impacts associated with transportation of spent nuclear fuel as a 211u001eresult of nuclear power plant license renewal. The results of the analysis will 211u001ebe used to amend 10 CFR Part 51.53 and Appendix B to Subpart A of 10 CFR Part 51, 211u001eand is not intended to support any other regulatory decision by the NRC. This 211u001eaddendum also includes an appendix that summarizes comments on the draft of the 211u001eaddendum, and documents the staff's responses to those comments.
