McKinney Creek Fish Screen

摘要

The purpose of the project was to implement a fish screen on McKinney Creek, a211u001etributary to the Klamath River. The project supports a continuing effort by the 211u001eU.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the California Department of Fish and Game 211u001e(CDFG) to reduce mortality of outmigrating juvenile steelhead. The purpose of the 211u001eprogram is to provide better management of resource (water for agricultural 211u001epurposes) and fishery protection through screen installation. All life stages of 211u001esteelhead (Onhorynchus mykiss) are present in the creek and are the benefit 211u001especies for this project.
