The objectives of the Social Service Provider Study were to: (1) Determine the211u001eextent to which social service agencies serve the mobility impaired population. 211u001e(2) Determine the type of mobility impairments present in populations served by 211u001esocial service agencies; (3) Identify the extent to which social service agencies 211u001eaddress the problems of mobility impairment by providing transportation services 211u001eto their clientele; (4) Assess, in the opinion of social service agencies, the 211u001eeffectiveness of current transportation systems in serving the needs of the 211u001emobility impaired population.
