Air Dispersion Modeling of Toxic Pollutants in Urban Areas: Guidance,211 Methodology, and Applications

This Report provides guidance on how to use the Industrial Source Complex Short211u001eTerm (ISCST3) model to estimate concentrations of air toxic pollutants for urban-211u001ewide analyses. Urban areas contain major sources and numerous smaller, area 211u001esources. As a result modeling analyses poses special challenges. Section 1 211u001eprovides guidance and recommendations on specific issues for urban-wide analyses 211u001eof air toxics. Section 2 provides an overview of two applications of the 211u001eIndustrial Source Complex Short Term (ISCST3) model to urban-wide studies. 211u001eAppendices A and B provide demonstration of the methodology for two example 211u001eapplications.
