This Interim Record of Decision (IROD) presents the interim groundwater remedial211u001eactions in the West/Annexes/Basewide Operable Unit (WABOU) at the Travis Air 211u001eForce Base (AFB) Sueprfund site in Solano County, California. As a result of past 211u001eindustrial activities, releases of volatile organic compounds (VOCs), 211u001epolychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), and pesticides have contaminated the 211u001egroundwater at four WABOU sites at Travis AFB. These sites are Building 755, 211u001eLandfill 3, Building 905, and Building 916. Actual or threatened releases of 211u001ehazardous substances from these sites, if not addressed by implementing the 211u001eresponse actions elected in this Groundwater IROD, may present a potential threat 211u001eto public health, welfare, or the environment.
