摘要

The paper presents results of investigations of power demand for disk self-211u001easpirating impellers which beside mixing fulfil the function of an aerator. The 211u001emixing power in aerated tank is determined experimentally for three different 211u001esizes of impellers and for different types of liquids, different liquid heights 211u001ein the tank and for different stirring velocities. The results are presented as 211u001ecorrelation equations. The power required for the tested impellers which operate 211u001ein the one-phase system (without aeration) appeared to be several times lower 211u001ethan the mixing power of Rushton disk turbines operating in similar conditions.
