The publication is significnat as it provides needed information on program211u001eimplementation and data to our Native people. Cancer is rapidly becoming a 211u001eserious threat in our communities. It is necessary to become more familar with 211u001ethis threat and its causes, consequences, and treatment in order to us to 211u001esuccessfully combat this disease. The publication contains information not only 211u001eon the morbidity and mortality of cancers in Native communities but also on 211u001eprojects that are successful and culturally relevant to our communities.
