This report, 'State Oil Revenues and Local Governments' identifies how oil211u001erevenues have been spent in the study areas, particularly expenditure of state 211u001egeneral funds on capital projects. In addition, other avenues through which state 211u001eoil revenues travel to local governments and households, such as revenue sharing, 211u001emunicipal assistance, public school funding, Permanent Fund dividends, Longevity 211u001eBonus payments, and others are also quantified. The primary purpose of this 211u001ereport is to quantify and describe these types of oil-related government 211u001espending. It includes only those programs that have generated infrastructure 211u001edevelopment, enhanced local government operations or improved the economic well-211u001ebeing of local households and were in substantial measure made possible by 211u001eAlaska's oil-related wealth.
