Review of the Emissions, Atmospheric Chemistry, and Gas/Particle Partition of211 Biogenic Volatile Organic Compounds and Reaction Products

This document reviews the state of knowledge in several areas related to the211u001eeffects of biogenic volatile organic compounds (BVOC) in the ambient atmosphere 211u001eand provides a summary of the current knowledge gaps. Following a brief 211u001eintroduction, Sections 2, 3, and 4 address the emissions of BVOC, the chemical 211u001efate of these compounds and their secondary products, and the partition of 211u001econdensible products between the gas and particle phases, respectively. Knowledge 211u001egaps are summarized in Section 5, which also provide the authors' recommendations 211u001efor future work.
