State-of-the-Art Review of Rotordynamics

This document is a state-of-the-art review of rotordynamics conducted by the211u001eLaboratory of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics at Helsinki University of 211u001eTechnology (HUT). It presents the most current journal articles that could be 211u001efound on the subject of rotordynamics and specifically vibrations of rotors with 211u001eimperfections such as asymmetry, initial bending, imbalance, etc. This document 211u001ealso includes information on currently available rotordynamic software. The 211u001eauthors have tried to be thorough in their searches for articles; however, the 211u001eauthors do not claim that this is a complete list. The authors used their 211u001ediscretion to decide what journals seemed the most relevant. Therefore, there may 211u001ehave been some journal articles that were not included in this document.
