摘要

The aim of the study was to evaluate the performances of different diversity211u001eschemes at the base station receiving end in a microcellular radio propagation 211u001echannel in narrowband mobile networks as Global System for Mobile Communication 211u001e(GSM). The particular motiviation was to determine a base station antenna array 211u001econfiguration of minimum spatial size to provide the best diversity gain in line-211u001eof-sight (LOS) and non-line-of-sight (NLOS) situations. Computed simulations and 211u001emeasurement campaigns were performed at 900 MHz and 1800 MHz frequency bands 211u001eapplying different variations of space, polarization and beam diversity 211u001etechniques.
