摘要

A multi-agent approach for system development has been used for solving more and more complex systems. Recent work has shown the benefits of this approach for building decision support applications in a complex real-time environment. In this paper, the development of an agent-based, time-critical decision support tool in the field of Command, Control, Communications, and Intelligence (C3I), is described. For the design of this tool, techniques from agent-based computing, object-orientation, and design patterns have been combined, and reuse has been a key design consideration from the start. The work has been carried out as a part of the EUCLID RTP 6.1 project, which is a European collaborative military research program, aimed at developing an advanced workstation for C3I.
