Homotopy Invariance of Higher Signatures for Manifolds with Boundary

If M is a closed oriented manifold-with-boundary whose fundamental group is211u001evirtually nilpotent or Gromov-hyperbolic, the authors show that the higher 211u001esignatures of M are oriented-homotopy invariants.
