MUMS is a computer model for simulation of underwater countermeasures for protection of submarines and surface ships against threatening torpedoes. The ships can be equipped with floating, towed or self-propelled decoys and jammers. The deceiving effects of noise generators and repeaters are modeled as well as the masking effects of broadband and narrowband jammers and so called 'bubble curtain.' A new type of countermeasure-an antitorpedo-torpedo-is proposed to be included in the MUMS model. The antitorpedo-torpedo model is specified in the report. The necessary changes and complements of the program code are described. The computer model will be run on a PC under the operating systems Windows 95/98 or Windows NT.
