It provides essential information for 211u001egovernment, business, industry, and the general public. The Accommodation and 211u001eFoodservices sector (sector 72) comprises establishments providing customers with 211u001elodging and/or preparing meals, snacks, and beverages for immediate consumption. 211u001eExcluded from this sector are governmental organizations classified in the 211u001ecovered industries and recreation or entertainment facilities providing food and 211u001ebeverage services. Each state report presents general statistics for 211u001eestablishments with payroll including number of establishments, sales, payroll, 211u001eand employment by kind of business for the state, metropolitan areas (MAs), 211u001ecounties, and places with 2,500 inhabitants or more. Greater kind-of-business 211u001edetail is shown for larger areas.
