Odin Operational Code (An Optimized Forward and Retrieval Code).

摘要

An optimized forward and inversion code for the retrieval of molecular volume mixing ratio profiles from sub-mm microwave measurements by the Odin satellite will be presented. The forward model takes into account the most important instrumental characteristics such as the double side bands, antenna and spectrometer. The inversion model uses the well known Optimal Estimation method. Level 1B HDF and level 2 HDF-EOS data formats are also presented.
